Kaleo Fellowship Preview // Bakersfield, California

In anticipation of its January launch, Kaleo Fellowship in Bakersfield, California held its preview service on Sunday, December 2. On his blog, Church Planter Brent Colaw described the morning as “far more than I hoped it would be.”

Journey 2L2 "Really Steps In" for Single Dad // Kingston, New Jersey

On Thursday, November 8, the front page of the South Brunswick (New Jersey) Post featured an article on Stadia church plant Journey 2L2, which remodeled a townhouse for David Berner, a local single father of two.

The church offered to help David, an apartment maintenance worker, who is attempting to sell his home so he and his boys can move to more affordable housing. He told The Post, “The state wouldn’t help me, but the church has really stepped in.”

Senator Thanks Abundant Life for Changing Lives // Sevierville, Tennessee

Abundant Life Christian Church is set to launch January 27, 2008 in Sevierville, Tennessee (near Knoxville) but the church is already heading up a Community Partnership Food Drive that caught the attention of State Senator Raymond Finney. He wrote to church planter Jason Nida in appreciation.
