The Stadia e-newsletter has a new look -- and it's not alone! For 2006, Stadia has a new website, a new logo, a new church planting model and new regions: Stadia East and Stadia West.

The all-new Stadia website launched on January 16. In addition to the new logo, it features a detailed explanation of our new church planting model, a searchable database of all our church plants, improved online giving, and contact information for our new regions.

Momentum Christian Church // An Unexpected Blessing

Church Planter Bart Stone and his family moved to Atlanta last month to begin preparations for the launch of Momentum Christian Church. He recently shared the story of an unexpected blessing he received while in Nashville for a Stadia Equipping Lab with his wife, Jodi, and two other Momentum team members: Seth Hoover and Debbie Swaggerty.

“We were staying in the LaQuinta Inn. Tuesday night we went down to swim in the indoor pool and hot tub. A gentleman came in and sat in the hot tub. He was in sales and traveling. He asked Jodi and Debbie what brought us to Nashville and they began sharing about the church plant. I was listening from the pool.

“The gentleman shared a lot about his experience and involvement with his Methodist church back home and it was clear that his perception of church was not the best. As we were drying off, the gentleman left and went back to his room. He returned as we were leaving the pool area, handed me some cash and said, ‘Take this as a donation to your new church. It’s a small way for me to be a part of it.’ It was $100!

“It was a great moment for us and just one more affirmation. We commented later that this small incident bears proof that most people desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves. We continue to be amazed and humbled that we get to be a part of what God is doing!”
